Apparently power and influence in the upper class cannot save some from the hassles of construction error, our sources have learned.
King Bowser Koopa, Sr., of the Mushroom Kingdom’s World Eight district, has pending litigation, filed in Superior Court against DelGenio Contracting, LLC of Piscataway back on December 15th. King Koopa claims that even on repeated attempts, DelGenio Contracting has failed to repair what he sees is a serious design flaw to his dwelling.
“When I hired [DelGenio] I made it quite clear,” he bellowed in a gravelly tone, “The blueprints called for a narrow bridge over lava in my private chambers…nowhere, but NOWHERE did it call for a mechanism that collapses said bridge be built at one end. I have tried on repeated attempts to get the situation rectified, but on each attempt it goes to no avail.”
As stated in court documents Koopa alleges that on several occasions the mechanism has collapsed the bridge with him on it, causing him bodily harm. As to the circumstances surrounding the collapsing of the bridge, that information has been embargoed until the results of the pending litigation. What we can say is that after each successive collapsing, the bridge was repaired with the mechanism still in place.
“All I want is for them to fix this god damn bridge so that it doesn’t collapse with me on it!! Is that too much to fucking ask?!?” stated Koopa. “It really interferes with my plans. Who in their right mind would want a collapsing bridge in their house anyway, I ask!”
When reached for a comment, DelGenio Contracting initially refused our request, though we did receive a rather ominous message from one of their laborers – he simply stated, “We Italians…we take care of our own…”
